## Questions people ask

### How long does it take to register a company in Finland?

A limited company can be registered online in a few days if the founders have Finnish identification. Without it, it takes longer. The Finnish Patent and Registration Office explains the steps.

### Can a foreign company work in Finland without a Finnish company?

Yes, but there are tax and registration duties, and posted workers must be notified to the occupational safety authority. The Tax Administration has a page for foreign businesses.

### Where are the industrial plots?

The GigaVaasa area at Laajametsä and the other business areas are managed by the City of Vaasa and the neighbouring municipalities. VASEK, the regional development company, helps find premises and land.
